「～の中で一番～だ」という表現を「最上級」と言います。
「～の中で」は単数の場合、「 in 」、複数の場合「 of 」という「前置詞」を用います。
This is the most beautiful picture in my album.
これは私のアルバムの中で一番美しい写真です。
He runs (the) fastest of us all.
彼は私たちみんなの中で一番速く走る。
注） 最上級には the を付けるのが普通ですが、たまに「副詞」には the が付かないこともあります。
最上級を強めたい場合、普通は by far や much、very がよく用いられる。
I think this book is by far the most interesting of all.
この本は断然一番おもしろいと思う。
This is the very best dictionary.
これがまさに最上の辞書です。
＝ This is much the best dictionary.
（ much の場合の語順に注意！）
最上級は「１番～」という意味であるが、「２番目に～」の場合も the second ＋ 最上級 で表す。
